Launching a challenger brand in the artisan coffee market requires character. Or in the case of Sophisticated Ape; characters. Their range of specialty coffee hails from selected regions around the globe that offer unique flavour profiles.
The objective was to not only provide great coffee but more importantly protect global rainforests. So who better to front the movement than the King of the swingers himself.
Sophisticated Ape launched locally, available through coffee shops and specialty vendors, alongside Amazon. The project gave the company the product packaging and brand toolkit to create unique physical and digital touchpoints.
